These buckets are light weight but durable, and keep your food supply dry and safe. In order to fully guarantee that extensive shelf life, it’s suggested that you keep your food supply in a relatively cool, dry place. The most important thing to remember is that when storing freeze-dried and dehydrated food, it is best to avoid excess humidity and heat. Our food supply is built to endure time and the elements, but overexposure can pose a risk to your shelf life over time. Even after 25 years, your food supply will still be good to eat.
