The Kizlyar Supreme Nikki belongs to the Hunting Series but also performs well for any bushcraft and general day-to-day tasks. The full tang blade design has a curving edge with a good amount of belly and flat back. Jimping/knurls at the thumb allow great control over the blade but the blade is heavy and strong enough for light chopping too if needed. In the age of sail, officers were expected to fight right alongside common deckhands. An officer never made his choice of weapon recklessly when he knew he to had to fight hand to hand to repel boarders. The clear choice was a Spadroon as his primary edged weapon.
